Loving mother of Joe (Karen), Nick (Valerie) and Chuck (Patricia) Vanella and step-mother of Steven and Richard Ladewig. Devoted grandmother of Caitlin (Fernando), Kelsey (Adam), Emily, Tess, Mia, and Charley. Great-grandmother of Gabriel. Dear sister of Sam LaPaglia. Visitation Thursday, June 9, 4-8 p.m. at Ryan-Parke Funeral Home, 120 S. Northwest Hwy., Park Ridge. Funeral Friday, 12:30 p.m. from funeral home to St. Paul of the Cross Church.
