Pauline C. Stensland, age 91 of Park Ridge, was taken home by our Heavenly Father while surrounded by her family. Pauline was adored by her late husband, Robert O. Stensland, and six daughters Carol Malawy, Jewel Freeman (Sean), Linda Kupsh, Janet Stensland, Susan Krieg, and Laura Muller (John). She was a joyful inspiration to 14 grandchildren Kara, Kristen (Jason), Kimberly (Max), Carolyn (Jason), Kelly (DJ), Brian, Allison, Jeff, Kelly (Mitch), Krista (Philip), Michelle, Holly, Ava and Max as well as great grandchildren London, G, Sidney, Ella, Madison, Taylor, Peyton, Avery and Cameron. She is also survived by her sister Adelaide (the late Dr. William) Scott of Terre Haute, IN, brother Patrick (Mattie) Conlon of Grand Rapids, MI and pre-deceased by her sister Louise (the late William) Hrabak of Terre Haute, Indiana.

She met the love of her life, Bob, when he winked at her at a dance from across the room and the rest is history. Pauline was the heart and soul of her family. The wonderful memories she created each and every year brought a lifetime of joy and happiness we will always hold dear in each of our hearts. Her fun loving personality made her many lifelong friends. They traveled, played bridge and celebrated all the journeys of their lives together.
