Judith A. Hedberg entered Life in the Resurrection, October 31, 2020. Judy was born December 26, 1937 in Pennsylvania, to Frederick and Esther (Pittman) Washburn, and had lived in Chicago most of her life. Loving wife of the late Carl Hedberg, Judy is survived by her daughters Gail Warner and Laura Sissman (Marty), three grandchildren, Christopher Hermer, Joshua Sissman (Kenna) and Karl Sissman. Judy’s pride was her grandsons, watching them grow up and sharing life’s precious moments together. Judy shared her love for music, Broadway musicals, films, travel, dogs, birds, and especially being together celebrating life. Judy was a strong and courageous woman; her perseverance battling cancers was an inspiration to all who fought with her, especially her daughters. Judy was an active member of Park Ridge Community Church. She lived her faith everyday sharing God’s love through her strength, kindness, smile, humor and love for all. Judy was a wonderful wife, amazing mother, caring grandmother and a friend to all. Judy will be deeply missed and loved forever. Memorial Service Saturday, October 30, 2021,11 a.m. at the Park Ridge Community Church, 100 Courtland Ave., Park Ridge. In lieu of flowers or cards, donations can be made to Ovarian Cancer Society.
