Joseph Shanahan. Age 95 of Norridge. Proud 78 year member of Painters & Allied Trades Union, District Council 14, Local #147. Beloved husband of Kathleen, nee Lennon. Loving father of Mary (Bob) Gagen, Patrick (Lori) and Therese (Terrence) Harmon. Cherished grandfather of 9. Dear brother of Irene and the late John, Cecilia, Daniel, Margaret and Michael. Fond uncle of many. Visitation Sunday, Jan. 30, 3-7 p.m., at Ryan-Parke Funeral Home, 120 S. Northwest Hwy., Park Ridge. Family and friends are asked to meet on Monday for a 10:30 a.m. funeral mass at St. Eugene Church, 7958 W. Foster, Chicago. Private interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Evanston.
