Virginia S. (nee Olszyna) Brauweiler

Virginia Brauweiler, age 92, of Park Ridge, Illinois. Virginia Brauweiler was born on December 28, 1928, to Stanley and Stefania Olszyna. She passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2021, in Park Ridge with her family by her side. Virginia was active as a parishioner and volunteer at Mary, Seat of Wisdom Catholic Church for over half a century. She volunteered at Rainbow Hospice and Resurrection Hospital, played a lively game of bridge, shared her love of learning and reading through book clubs, and loved to spoil her seven grandchildren. Beloved wife of 64 years to Carl Brauweiler. Loving mother of Daniel (Joelle) Brauweiler, Anne Marie (Steven) Engel, Paul (Danielle) Brauweiler, and Neal (Vickie) Brauweiler. Proud grandmother of Austin, Lucas, and Mitchell Brauweiler; Nathan and Alex Brauweiler; and Sofie and Henry Brauweiler. Dear sister of the late Bernice (John) Sandstrom. Family and friends will meet on Saturday, January 9, at  Mary, Seat of Wisdom Catholic Church, 920 Granville Avenue, Park Ridge, for a mass.
