Theresa L. (Braden) Fruecht

Theresa L. (Braden) Fruecht of Des Plaines, IL passed away on April 2, 2021. She was born December 2, 1956 to Dr. Paul and Ruth Braden in Indianapolis, IN.

Theresa was a graduate of Warren Central High School, Indianapolis, IN in 1975 and St. Joseph's College, Rensselaer, IN in 1979. It was at St. Joseph's College she met her future husband, Steve Fruecht. They were married October 18, 1980.

Theresa was employed at Indiana Bell from 1979 as a programmer analyst until the birth of their first child in March, 1982. From that point on, she was a dedicated and loving mother to their three children.

Theresa spent a lot of her free time gardening and enjoyed spending time with her family and volunteering at the children's activities and church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her father's second wife Virginia (Tredway) Braden; and a sister, Jean Ann.

She is survived by her husband, Steve; three children, Lisa (Charles) Fox, David (Heather) and Sarah (Damir) Mehic; four grandchildren, Mina Mehic; Anja Mehic; Steve Fox; and Penelope Fruecht; siblings Andrew (Kathleen) and Katherine (Joseph) Conway;  three nieces, Andrea (Steven) Roberts and their two children; Lauren Conway; and Madelyn Conway; and two nephews, Christopher Braden; and Nathan Conway.

Open visitation will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2021 from 10:30 AM until 11:30 AM at Holy Spirit at Geist, Fishers, IN. A brief prayer service and eulogy will follow from 11:30 AM until 11:45 AM. Masks will be necessary during the visitation and prayer service due to Covid. The funeral mass will be private.

Theresa will be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN following the funeral mass.
