Rosemary (nee Cutmore) Behrendt

Rosemary Cutmore Behrendt passed away peacefully on August 30, 2021. Devoted mother of James (Marina) Behrendt and Nancy (Carl Pedigo) Behrendt. Beloved grandmother of Breanna Swiatek Behrendt (Chris).  Rosemary was born and raised in Chicago.  She attended St. Edwards’s grade school followed by Alvernia High School.   After graduation, she attended the Ray Vogue School of Fashion Design before joining the U.S. Navy on her 20th birthday in 1943.   She was honorably discharged from the Navy in 1946 and married soon after.  Her family was raised in the St. Paul of the Cross Parish, Park Ridge  where she was active in church activities and a member of the Catholic Women’s Club. Visitation Wednesday, Sept. 8, 9-9:45 a.m. at Ryan-Parke Funeral Home, 120 S. Northwest Hwy., Park Ridge. Funeral Mass, 10 a.m. at St. Paul of the Cross Church. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to Catholic Charities or the Social Service Ministry of St. Paul of the Cross Church.
