Robert D. Crowley

Robert “Bob” Crowley passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2020 at the age of 75. Robert was a lifelong resident of Chicago IL. He married his beloved wife, Christine “Kiki” Crowley, nee Gora on October 16, 1966 and was the devoted and loving father of 3 sons. 

Robert started his career as a union electrician and worked for the City of Chicago for over 40 years. He was an avid golfer who was admired for his witty sense of humor, infectious smile, and kind spirit that brought joy to all that knew him. Robert was a fun-loving Dad and Grandpa who adored spending time with his family. He enjoyed the outdoors and vacationing with his children, and he also loved to travel, visit casinos, and play card games with his life-long friends.

Robert was preceded in death by his cherished wife Christine, his parents, and his 2 older brothers George and Michael. Robert is survived by his children, including Vincent (Jennifer), Robert (Natalie), and Jason (Jennifer), as well as his 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. He is also survived by his mother-in-law and many much-loved nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends.

We pray for Robert, and we know that he and Kiki will always be in our hearts while they watch over us from our Heavenly Kingdom. Due to the current Covid pandemic situation, services will be private. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
