Blessed great grandmother to Connor, Maggie, Haley, Dean, Louie, William, Olivia, Leah, Luke, Ethan, Eli, George, Emery and Josephine. Pat was born on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17, 1927. She grew up in Danville, IL and went on to attend St. Mary’s College, Notre Dame, transferring to the University of Illinois. Pat was a proud member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority where she was known as “Scotty” and has always been a proud Illini alum. While she knew Hod at U. of I., they began dating after graduating and married on April 19, 1952. Pat and Hod raised their family in Park Ridge, IL where they remained their entire lives. Spending winters in Delray Beach, FL they hosted their children and grandchildren often, especially during spring breaks. So many great memories were created and shared there.
Mom/Grandma was a beautiful person inside and out. She was a classy and elegant lady who was completely devoted to her family. She was a cherished friend to many and delighted in playing golf and bridge with her girlfriends. Even in the advanced stages of dementia, her kind spirit shined through. A truly special lady and so loved. She will be missed but we are joyful in her reunion with husband, Hod and son, Ted, in heaven where the fairways are wide, and the drives are always straight.
