Murrel 'Gene' Cleveland

Murrel “Gene” Cleveland formerly of Park Ridge, IL passed away peacefully on September 21, 2022 at the age of 94. He was preceded in death by his son Mark on November 24, 2021 and his loving wife Lorri on July 28, 2022. The date of his death would’ve been Gene and Lorri’s 65th wedding anniversary and it warms our hearts to know that they are together again. ❤️  He is survived by his four daughters Janet Nelson, Julie (Kim) Eriksen, Beth (Peter) Nelson, and Mickey (Stu) Wind. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren Stephanie Nelson Trevor Nelson, Jason Nelson, Tyler Nelson, Haley (Chris) Saucedo, Kirsten Baker, Dana (Matt) Polanin, Randi Wind, and Marti Wind. He was also blessed with two great-grandsons, Maverick Baker and Braden Polanin. He was a wonderful husband, father, father-in-law, Papa, uncle and friend. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 21, 2022, 10 a.m., at Mary Seat of Wisdom Church, (Cumberland and Granville) Park Ridge, IL. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Mercy Home For Boys and Girls.
