Michael J. Clay, age 54, born February 14, 1967, passed away November 5, 2021, surrounded by loved ones after surgical complications. His love of life, family, and friends will forever be remembered and cherished by all. Beloved husband of Kimberly Nalker. Loving father of Tara Nalker. Treasured Grandfather of Lilliana and Starr Nalker. Will be missed by his fur-ever friend, Sasha. Adored son of Rose Mary Clay. Loved brother of Cheryle Clay. Nephew of Bob and Barb Mikulecky and Bob Bludzuis. Cousin of many. Uncle Clay to many nieces and nephews.
Mike had a love of all things outdoors, fishing, art, storm chasing, and the paranormal. He worked at a job he loved at the Town of Maine Cemetery for almost 20 years, finding friends everywhere he turned.
He was passionate about making every moment with his granddaughters fun and memorable. Most described Mike as a character and he could make anyone laugh. He spread fun everywhere he went. He will be remembered for that.
Visitation Saturday, November 13, 4-8 p.m. at Ryan-Parke Funeral Home, 120 S. Northwest Hwy., Park Ridge. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, Mike's family has established a GoFundMe page at https://gofund.me/f85bc511.
