Mary Jo Lamping

Mary Jo Lamping. Passed away unexpectedly in her sleep on January 19, 2023. A gentle ending to a long hard 50+ year journey with schizophrenia. Many Park Ridge residents know her as "the Walgreens Lady" where she spent many hours chatting with customers and staff.  A Memorial Service for Mary Jo will take place at the Park Ridge Community Church, 100 S. Courtland Ave., Park Ridge on Saturday, February 4 at 11:00 a.m.  Donations honoring Mary Jo's memory are welcomed at "Park Ridge Community Church" and "NAMI" (National Alliance on Mental Illness).
