Marikay 'KK' Carroll

Marikay Carroll 'KK'. January 23, 1943 - May 26, 2023. She was born and raised on the West Side of Chicago, attending Resurrection Elementary School, Trinity High School and Rosary College. As an Elementary School Teacher she taught hundreds of second graders over 35 plus years. Marikay peacefully passed away surrounded by her loved ones.

Preceded in death by: parents, John Wall Carroll and Mary Frances, nee Healy, Carroll; step-mother, Lorraine Longland Carroll and many aunts and uncles, especially Rev. Thomas I. Healy. Survived by her loving partner in life, Pete Arianas, siblings: Patricia (the late Joseph P.) Healy, Nancy (the late Joseph J.) Morelli, Susan (Robert) Beck, John (Debra) Carroll, James (Debra) Carroll, and the late Debra Carroll; nieces and nephews: Maryfrances, nee Healy, Leno, Matthew Healy, Annemarie, nee Healy, Flaherty, J.J. Morelli, Katie, nee Morelli, Dolendi, Tony Morelli, Christopher Carroll, Jason Carroll, Patrick Carroll, Kelly, nee Carroll, Neary, Jon Carroll, Tim Carroll, and Brian Carroll; and 26 great-nieces and nephews.

Visitation Thursday, June 1, 10 a.m.-12 noon, at Ryan-Parke Funeral Home, 120 S. Northwest Hwy., Park Ridge. Funeral Mass will follow at 12:30 p.m., at St. Paul of the Cross Church. Interment All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, American Red Cross, American Diabetes Assn. or American Cancer Society are appreciated.
