Lee Ann Wozniak

Lee Ann Wozniak, nee Heidenbluth age 98. Beloved wife to the late Clarence G. Wozniak. Aunt to Lorraine and Marge Wozniak. Lee Ann was a Chicago school teacher for 45 years. She taught eighth grade social studies at Stewart and Ebinger schools. She was also on the Chicago Board of Education. Lee Ann acquired her Bachelors Degree from the University of St. Francis, her Masters Degree from Loyola University Chicago and was six months away from receiving her PhD from the University of Illinois. 
Lee Ann was extremely active in various organizations over her life. She was the President of Delta Kappa Gamma for four years, she was also a member of Delta Kappa Sigma. She served as the President of the International Council at the University of the St. Francis, Council of Foreign Relations. She became the President of residents at Mather of Wilmette where she was voted Senior of the Year. She also served as the Secretary of "The Young at Heart" and was involved with the Apostolate of Woman group at St. Paul of the Cross Church. Most of all she was a very avid bridge player.
Visitation will be held at Ryan-Parke Funeral Home, 120 S. Northwest Hwy., Park Ridge, Friday, March 10 from 9-9:45 a.m. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Paul of the Cross Church 140 S. Northwest Hwy., Park Ridge, Friday 10:00 a.m. Entombment in All Saints Cemetery to follow. In lieu of flowers donations to the Carmelite Monastery, 949 N. River Rd., Des Plaines, 60016.
