Jimmie Wayne Bradley passed away in Park Ridge, Illinois on March 30th, 2022 at the age of 73.

Predeceased by his parents, Alcyone and Samuel as well as his brothers, Bruce and Johnnie. Jimmie is survived by his sister Anne, niece Allyson, three children, Jason, Jessica and Melinda and his four grandchildren Brandon, Matthew, Tyne and Nika.

Jimmie was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, grew up in Homestead, Florida and served honorably in the United States Army. As a boy he picked tomatoes in fields, studied forestry, and earned extra cash by diving off of bridges while having his picture taken. He was a very hard worker that would give you the shirt off of his back.

Jimmie had an artistic spirit, mastering the craft of lithography, and was a voracious reader of mystery and thriller books. He adored his German Shepherds Princess and Blackjack. He also loved the Grateful Dead, especially going to shows with his best friend Kenny. His favorite songs were Me and My Uncle and Truckin.

There will be a small service for immediate family members only. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to the American Heart Association, www.heart.org.
