Grace I. Tortorella

Grace I Tortorella, 91, died peacefully on September 16th, 2021 surrounded by family.  She was preceded in death by her husband Frank J. Tortorella Sr.  She was a loving sister to Nikki, devoted Mother of Judy, Suzanne, Christine, Mary Grace (Jack), Frank Jr., and Edna Marie, proud Grandmother to Grace Ann, Jaime, Christopher, Daniel, Elyse, Jake, Patrick, Kyle, Toni, Gabriella Grace, Gia, Nikki, and Frankie, and Great Grandma to Quinten.  Grace is remembered for her amazing cooking and catering “Gracie’s”, performances in the annual Mary Seat of Wisdom Church “Chez Paree” show, and the way she loved to entertain family, friends, and neighbors. She inspires us all to be more kind, loving, and patient. Her love for us will always be cherished.  The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association (www.alz.org).  A memorial visitation will be held Wednesday, September 22, from 3-9 p.m. at Ryan-Parke Funeral Home, 120 S. Northwest Hwy., Park Ridge.
