Eugene Raymond Ori

Eugene Raymond Ori, 69, of Vista, CA, formerly of Park Ridge, IL. Beloved son of the late Eleanor and Joseph Ori.  Loving brother of Joseph (Susan) and Robert (Diane) Ori.  Devoted uncle to Michael (Nicole) Ori, Elizabeth (Kurt) Wunderlich, Kristin (Kiel) Nowers, and Joseph (Jennifer) Ori.  Proud great uncle to Gianna, Sadie, Harper, Arya, Joseph, Eleanor, Emmett, and Gemma.  

Gene will forever be remembered as a kind-hearted and truly unique person who left an indelible mark on all he met.  He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in the Vietnam War.  During his life, he devoted much of his time to those who were disadvantaged and ensured soldiers were cared for in times of need.  In remembrance of him, Gene’s family asks that you reach out to an American soldier or veteran who may be in need and offer comfort and care. A private burial was held  at All Saints Cemetery.
