Elisabeth Filipovic

Elisabeth Filipovic, 85 of Park Ridge, IL was born October 31, 1938 in St. George, Yugoslavia. She grew up in Heilbronn, Germany, then moved to the United States in 1962. She worked for Commerzbank in Chicago, IL until she retired at age 65. In addition to her banking career, she was also a certified beauty operator. She was preceded in death by her parents Nickolaus and Elisabeth (nee Laars) Baumann, her beloved husband Milan Filipovic, her brother Johann (Hans) Baumann, and her daughter Brigitte (Ladner) Zwickel. She is survived by her daughter Brenda (Jack) Hoffman, granddaughter Amanda (Tu) Nguyen, and three great-grandchildren, Branson Lizana, Cameron Nguyen, and Maddox Nguyen.

A  memorial visitation will be held on February 24, from 2-3 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at 3 p.m., at Ryan-Parke Funeral Home (120 S. Northwest Hwy., Park Ridge). In lieu of flowers, please donate to your church or a charity of choice. Interment private.
