Donald J. O ’Hern. Age 84, resident of Mount Prospect since 1996. Formerly of Norridge. Loving husband and best friend to the late Patricia A. O ‘Hern. Beloved son to the late John & Winifred O ‘Hern. Devoted brother of the late John “Buddy” O ‘Hern. Dear brother-in-law of Catherine (the late Frank O’Keefe), Margaret (the late James Finnegan), The late Michael and (late Barbara O’Grady), The late John O’Grady, (Carol O’Grady) Rosemary (the late James Sivore). Donald was a loving uncle of 31 nieces and nephews. Born December 01, 1937, in Chicago, he passed away September 16, 2022. He was a retired Chief of Custodians for Cook County Second Municipal District-Skokie. Donald had a love for golf and The Chicago Cubs. Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Ryan-Parke Funeral Home 120 S. Northwest Hwy., Park Ridge. Funeral Mass will be on Friday 9:30 a.m. at St. Emily Church 1400 E Central Rd., Mt Prospect. Interment All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Donald's family asks that you do something nice with or for your family.
