Alice R. (nee Farrell) Zimmermann

Alice Rose Zimmermann, nee Farrell, died peacefully June 1, 2022. She was born in 1940 to the late John “Jack” Farrell and the late Rosetta Farrell. She married John, her husband of 58 years, in 1964 and moved to Park Ridge, Illinois, in 1965. She was a loving mother to John (Marcelaine), Mike (Amy), Tom (Holly), Margaret Seurynck (Tom), and Katie Mazukelli (Mike). She was a caring aunt to Colleen Brejcha and Bridget Bizon. Alice was also a sister, cousin, and friend to countless people and a devoted member of the St. Paul of the Cross parish in Park Ridge for over 55 years, where she selflessly gave her time and talents. Her favorite role in life was that of grandmother to her 15 grandchildren: Olivia, Caroline, John, Michael, Joey, Danny, Ella, Andrew, and Tommy Zimmermann; Caitlin, Ally, and Abby Seurynck; and Angela, Brenna, and Vince Mazukelli. She is also survived by her sister, Margaret Lange, nee Farrell, and her sister-in-law, Rita Zimmermann. Visitation will be Friday, June 3, 3-8 p.m. at Ryan-Parke Funeral Home, 120 S. Northwest Hwy., Park Ridge. Funeral Saturday, June 4, 11:00 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Paul of the Cross Church. Mass 11:30 AM. Interment private in Egg Harbor, Door County, Wisconsin.
