Mary "Joan" Edelman, nee Conlon. Age 93. Beloved wife of the late Melvin A. Loving sister of Joy (Roman) Gales, the late Dorothy (the late Chester) Bryan, the late Rosemary (the late Louis) Zalewski, and her twin, the late Margaret "Jean" (the late Harold) Quinn. Loving aunt, Godmother and cousin of many. Joan was a highly respected teacher of nursing at St. Francis Hospital, Evanston. Visitation Friday, Sept. 28, 3-8 p.m., at Ryan-Parke Funeral Home, 120 S. Northwest Hwy. (2 blks. S. of Touhy), Park Ridge. Funeral Saturday, 9:15 a.m. from funeral home, to Mary Seat of Wisdom Church. Mass 10 a.m. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
