Devoted grandfather of David (Michelle), Erin and Katie Straka. Dear brother of the late John (the late Helen) and the late Margaret (the late Rudy) Kik. Visitation Friday, Oct. 19, 3-8 p.m., at Ryan-Parke Funeral Home, 120 S. Northwest Hwy. (2 blks. S. of Touhy), Park Ridge. Funeral Saturday, 9:30 a.m. from funeral home, to St. Paul of the Cross Church. Mass 10 a.m. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org, are appreciated.
