Devoted grandfather of Dominick John, John Joseph and Joseph Anthony Gobbo, Jon and Mary Anna Walley, Madeline and Jasmine Basile, Matthew (Rachel Peterson, fiancee), Melanie and Stephanie Bradshaw. Dear brother of the late John, Vito and Sam Gobbo and Rose Pfeiffer. Fond brother-in-law of the late George (the late Rita Micucci) and Paul (Vera) Koch. Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Retired Founder and President of Illinois Paving Co., Army Air Force Veteran of WWII and Korea, past President of the Park Lake Assn., past Treasurer of N.W. Builders Assn., member of Rand Park D.T.C. for 50 years, and member of VFW and Italian Veterans. Visitation Sunday, April 2, 3-8 p.m., at Ryan-Parke Funeral Home, 120 S. Northwest Hwy. (2 blks.S. of Touhy), Park Ridge. Funeral Monday, April 3, 9:30 a.m. from funeral home, to St. Paul of the Cross Church. Mass 10 a.m. Interment private.
