Anna Ruggiero Bartucci, Age 80, of Park Ridge, Il. passed away on August 21, 2019 in the comfort of her home.
Anna was born in Bari, Italy, a port city on the Adriatic sea. She earned a degree in Accounting/Finance at Giulio Cesare Commercial Institute. After emigrating to the United States in 1960, she began working in the banking industry in leadership roles for various organizations (Central National Bank, Banco di Roma, Plaza Bank). She enjoyed bringing in new business and serving her clients.
Outside of work, she enjoyed gardening, taking strolls in the Chicago Botanic Garden, and baking with her grandchildren. She was a wonderful cook and hostess, who greeted you with a smile and was always ready to offer an espresso or cappuccino once you stepped foot in the door.
Anna is survived by her loving husband, Emilio Bartucci; daughter Patricia Carringi and husband Ronald Carringi; son Emilio Bartucci, brother Sebastian Ruggiero; brother Vito and sister in-law Eileen Ruggiero, granddaughter Mia Carringi; grandson Robert Carringi
Visitation Friday, August 30, 4-8 p.m., at Ryan-Parke Funeral Home, 120 S. Northwest Hwy., Park Ridge. Funeral Mass Saturday, August 31, 10 a.m., at St. Paul of the Cross Church. Entombment All Saints Cemetery. Memorials to Multiple Myeloma Research, www.themmrf.org, are appreciated.
