Emilie V. Reiter

Emilie V Reiter age 92 passed on February 26, 2024. She is preceded in death by her parents, Franz and Maria nee Kastner, her brothers and sisters Emil (Anna), Franz (Anni), Josefa (Felix), Jakob, and niece Erika. She is survived by her nephew and nieces Jakob (Annette), Angela (Mike), Anita, Beate, Gita (the late Rolf). Great nieces and nephews Amelia, Joseph, Petra, Thomas, Marion, Nicole and the late Manuela. She is also survived by her cousin Inge.

Emilie was an active member of several German ladies clubs, the Chicago Columbia Club, Germania Women’s Club, Pensionaire Club and Thursday Lunch Bunch at the Schwaben Center. Playing cards with her friends at American Aid Society of German Descendants. Emilie loved to spend time with her family and friends she enjoyed traveling, going to the movies, and hosting Kafe Klutches at home.

Services for Emilie will be Monday, March 4, 2024. Visitation 9 a.m. until 12 noon at Ryan-Parke Funeral Home 120 S. Northwest Hwy., Park Ridge IL. Funeral Mass 12:30 p.m. at St. Paul of The Cross Church, 140 S. Northwest Hwy., Corner of Northwest Hwy., and Washington. Interment to follow; All Saints Cemetery 700 N. River Rd. Des Plaines IL.
