Charlene M. Widmaier

Charlene M. Widmaier, nee Thurber. Age 70 of Park Ridge passed away March 17, 2024. Beloved wife and best friend for 43 years of Michael; loving mother of Valerie and Scott Widmaier; devoted daughter of Therese Thurber, nee Sulka, and the late Robert J. Thurber; dear sister of Timothy (Julie) Thurber, Yvonne (Michael) Burke and the late Duane (Susan) Thurber; fond sister-in-law of Thomas (Eve) Widmaier, William (Dena) Widmaier, the late John (Elizabeth) Widmaier and the late James (Kim) Widmaier; caring aunt and great-aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. Retired teacher from St. Paul of the Cross School in Park Ridge. Charlene was an inspiration to hundreds of children throughout her career. Visitation Friday, March 22, 3-8 p.m. at Ryan-Parke Funeral Home, 120 S. Northwest Hwy., Park Ridge. Funeral Saturday, prayers 11:30 a.m. from funeral home to St. Paul of the Cross Church.
