My wife Joan and Dr. David and his beloved Joan had several fun dinner evenings
together. I first met them when I purchased a dental practice right next to his in Park
Ridge in 1964. She will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.

A few impressions, gathered over the decades, of Joan Grauer: funny & fun-loving yet dignified, down-to-earth yet sophisticated, wise yet possessing innocent wonder about life, animated yet serene, engaged in this world yet mindful of the Eternity beyond it; A wonderful duality existing within a unique & beautiful human being.
The burden of sorrow over our loss is lessened by thinking of all those creatures of God, wild and domestic, great and small, who are so happy to finally see you again, Aunt Joan.
With Love, Young Tom

So many treasured memories of Aunt Joan. She had a wonderful sense of humor and I remember laughing so hard tears would roll down my cheeks. Her cooking was amazing and sauerkraut second to none. We had a special bond due to our love of animals. We loved her so much and will miss her. Joanne, Mike, Eric and Matt Graham
