I was married to Congressman Bob Davis when Christy first started as an intern. She was an invaluable asset to Bob's office in the years after she was hired on staff. Christy not only knew Bob's congressional district, she knew how to handle legislative issues.
I saw another side to Christy's professionalism. Her personality stood out. Friendly, fun, always sunny and positive.
In later years Christy and I shared and commented on our lives on Facebook.
May you find peace, my friend.

My sincere condolences to the family. I taught 5th grade to Katie, Andy and Mary, and Christy was always my room mom. My heart is broken for all of you! She was a wonderful lady!! I remember the Time magazine report Katie did in my class that was all about her mom. I hope you still have it. All 3 of you have grown up into such beautiful people. I know your mom would be so proud of you. XOXO Mrs. Mustari

I am so sorry for your loss. I met Christy through my sister shortly after you moved to Park Ridge. Christy and my sister were in CBS together and we were in the Park Ridge class for many years together. I had the privilege of teaching Katie in the "Yellow Sheep" class when she was 3. May the Lord be a comfort to you as you grieve the all to early loss of your wife and mother.
