A. Kenneth Mrowiec. Age 87. US Army Veteran. Beloved husband of 63 years to Megan. Loving father of Mimi (Tom) Lenz, Kim (Bill) Toter, Ken (Julie), Jon (Jodi) and Andy (Robyn). Devoted grandfather of 25 and great-grandfather of 6. Preceded in death by two grandsons, Kyle Mrowiec and Micah Lenz. Dear brother of Ronald. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and relatives. Ken was a longtime Park Ridge resident, serving the community as a Cubmaster for Cub Scouts, and coach for local baseball, football, hockey, basketball and swim teams. He was one of the original founders of the Park Ridge Mighty Mites Youth Football Program. He worked in printing, reprographics and real estate, and loved golf, ballroom dancing, and Chicago sports. Memorial visitation Sunday, June 11, 3-8 p.m. at Ryan-Parke Funeral Home, 120 S. Northwest Hwy. (2 blks. S. of Touhy), Park Ridge. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations to Lutheran General Hospital Stroke Unit in Ken's name are appreciated.
